My name is Malene and I come from Denmark. Growing up, I always spent holidays on the road to some European destination and I knew from an early age that I was not gonna stay in wee Denmark for the rest of my life.

When I finally was old enough to leave on my own, I grabbed the opportunity. I found an au-pair family in the Netherlands, where I stayed just over a year.

But it wasn’t until I decided to leave the familiar continent for a faraway country on the other side of the world that I really started to open my eyes and discover my passion. Travelling solo to New Zealand was the best decision of my life and I now cannot stop until I’ve seen every last bit this world has to offer.

I currently have my base in Belfast, Northern Ireland, but try escaping to see more of the world whenever I can.
